When: Saturday, November 17, 2018 between 1 and 4PM, you don’t need to arrive precisely at 1:00, but please arrive before 3:00.

Please park in the parking lot back and use the back door.
You can take all three levels (Technician, General and Extra, called “elements”) for the same $14 but if you don’t pass we will need to pay again to retake the test.

Thanks for attending our first meeting!
As mentioned at our first meeting, we will need to sign-up for a FRN number from the FCC website in order to receive an amateur radio license.

Next Wednesday, October 3rd we’re starting a six week study session to prepare for the Technician license exam.
We’ll be meeting at the Felton Fire Department from 7PM to 9PM on:
The license exam will be on Saturday, November 17th at MCR (Mountain Community Resources) in Felton mid-day.

Yep, we’ve started a blog for the San Lorenzo Valley Amateur Radio Emergency Service. Come to our monthly meeting next Wednesday at 7:30PM at Cal Fire in Felton.
We’ll be discussing using a Radio, a Cable, and a Smart Phone to get into APRS.
We’ll also be discussing our participation in the Santa Cruz Triathlon.
