OK, things have changed again….
The new start time for the exam is 2PM. There’s no problem if you come at 3PM, but the doors will open at 2:00.
At least the location hasn’t changed: MCR, 6134 Hwy 9 in Felton. Park and enter in the back.
Yep, our class has only one more session (Feb 12) then it’s time to take the test.
We have two options: Feb 15th in Saratoga https://www.svve.org/, or Feb 22nd in Felton.
The Felton class is at MCR, 6134 Hwy 9 in Felton. The test will begin at 2PM. Park and enter in the back.
When: Tuesday evenings, 7:00 – 9:00 PM, for 6 weeks, beginning January 7, 2020
Where: Santa Cruz County Emergency Operations Center, 5200 Soquel Ave, Santa Cruz
Cost: Free, but you need the book Technician Class, by Gordon West ($25.00)
Deadline: Space is limited and goes to those who enroll first. No enrollment after Dec.15.

San Lorenzo Valley ARES will be teaching a new Technician level class beginning Wednesday May 29th, the first class of six.
The class will be from 7 to 9 pm every Wednesday evening on May29th, June 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th, the last class will be July the 3rd.
The test will be held on Saturday, July 6th from 1 to 4 pm for all license levels at the Scotts Valley Library.
The class will be limited to 30 students. There is no cost for the class, but there is a cost for the study manual of $22 and $15 to take the exam.
We’ve finally scheduled the “what’s next” class for new hams.
It will be held on Saturday February 16th from 2PM to 6PM (4:00 to 18:00) at
Mountain Community Resources in Felton. Here’s a map.
